Flying after hours: If you are based with us you are more than welcome to fly your aircraft after our usual closing time of 6pm. Given the unrivalled views - Summer evenings are often the nicest time to fly - and you have the whole place to yourselves (give or take a few other members!). We have regular club evenings where we cook you a meal or just keep the bar open so you can enjoy a drink on the sunny terrace after an evenings flight!
At Compton we have three hangars and ample outside parking space and we think, given our unbeatable location and great facilities, we also have extremely competitive prices. There is always a friendly club member, our maintenance man, Martin, or a staff member to give you a hand with moving your aircraft, and our members forum on the website enables you to chat to other aircraft owners to make moving about as easy as possible!
Once you become a member and base your aircraft with us you are entitled to reduced cost fuel, which we always keep well below the national average for visiting pilots, and knock off an extra 5 pence per litre for resident aircraft.
With regard to landing fees, you can pay half price landings on a pay as you go basis, or buy a landing card which gives you unlimited landings for the whole year. Members landings are only £6 and a landing card is just £210.
